What is HBOT

Oxygen is fundamental

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy involves breathing inside a pressurized chamber that allows your body to absorb significantly more oxygen than under normal conditions.

At Pneuma we use hard shell chambers — not soft shell inflatable units. Hard shell chambers provide a controlled, pressurized environment that delivers a fundamentally different level of oxygen saturation.

Each session lasts approximately 60 minutes. You simply relax inside the chamber while breathing normally. Many clients read or just simply rest.

Protocols typically range from 20 to 40 sessions depending on your wellness goals. Our team will help guide you toward the right package

Pressurization
The chamber gradually pressurizes to 2.0 ATA — roughly twice normal atmospheric pressure.

Oxygen Absorption
At increased pressure your body absorbs significantly more oxygen into blood plasma and tissues.

Your Session
Relax for approximately 60 minutes while our staff monitors your session.

Depressurization
The chamber gradually returns to normal pressure. Most clients feel refreshed.

The story behind

Pneuma.

My name is Benjamin Hong, and my connection to hyperbaric oxygen therapy didn't start as a business idea. It started as a personal witness — watching someone I love go through one of the hardest seasons of their life, and seeing HBOT play a meaningful role in their recovery.

What stayed with me wasn't just the science, though I believe in it deeply. It was the cost.
For a therapy with this level of documented efficacy, access should not be a privilege reserved for the few.

That conviction became Pneuma Hyperbarics.

I built Pneuma for the person in recovery who deserves every tool available to them. For the athlete pushing their limits. For the family searching for answers. For anyone who has looked at the research, believed in what hard shell hyperbaric oxygen therapy can do, and simply couldn't afford the door to open.

That door is now open. In Cypress, California. For you.

Hard shell HBOT is a well established wellness modality. Our staff is trained on safety protocols for every session.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends on your personal goals. Many clients choose protocols between 10 and 40 sessions.

What should I wear or bring?

Comfortable, loose fitting clothing is recommended. Many clients bring a book or headphones.

Can children use HBOT?

Yes, HBOT is used by individuals of many ages. We recommend reaching out to discuss your specific situation.

Do you accept insurance?

Pneuma operates as a wellness service and packages are paid out of pocket

What happens after I purchase a package?

You'll receive a confirmation email with next steps, including your waiver and first booking.

What does "price locked for life" mean?

On 20 and 40 session Founding Member packages, your rate is locked in permanently. As long as you repurchase a package within 3 months of completing your last session, your rate never increases — regardless of how our pricing changes. Sessions must be completed within 12 months of purchase.

Why are Founding Member spots limited to 12?

We're intentionally limiting Founding Member status to 12 individuals to ensure each member receives the best possible scheduling access when we open. Priority scheduling, locked pricing, and exclusive access — once these 12 spots are filled, this offer will not be available again.
